Project Manager
As the Project Manager Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple projects within our organization. You will lead a team of project managers and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Your strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities will be instrumental in driving the success of our projects and achieving our business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning and scheduling: Collaborating with company teams and departments to create project plans, defining project scope, objectives, deliverables and timelines.
- Ensure a smooth and conducive environment for all members of the project.
- Focal point of the project, including third parties of the project, and act as a host/hostess where needed.
- Resource Allocations: Assist in resource planning and allocation for various projects and teams ensuring that the accurate talents and budgets are available for project success.
- Monitor and evaluate status and progress by implementing project tracking mechanisms, including milestones, progress indicators and KPIs .
- Identify potential project risks and work to develop mitigating strategies, ensuring projects stay on track and risks are minimized.
- Maintaining comprehensive project documentation, including meeting minutes, action items, and status reports to stakeholders, providing timely updates to program stakeholders.
- Proactively identify project bottleneck and challenges, facilitating timely resolution and escalation to the stakeholders
- Facilitate clear and effective communication channels between the stakeholders, project team members, and external parties.
Qualification:
- University degree preferably in Business, Finance, Project Management or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years project management experience in the Information Technology field or Business Processes
- PMP Certified or have thorough understanding of the PMBOK processes
- Proven ability to take full ownership of and ensure all assigned projects are done within budget and on schedule.
- Proven ability to facilitate project meetings with cross functional teams to determine requirements, schedules, risks, progress and budget
- Experience leading multiple, complex projects in a matrixed organization
- Experience with integrated multi-vendor applications
- Ability to clearly communicate at all levels within an organization
- Demonstrated ability to deliver well-organized and engaging presentations
- Demonstrated ability to function in a highly dynamic, fast-paced, and continually changing environment
- Experienced in facilitating multi-disciplined workgroups to develop solutions to problems and/or consensus
- Proficient in Microsoft suite of applications including Microsoft Project, Visio, Teams, EXCEL and PowerPoint
